What we do...
Yoursoundsystem.com provides two main services: Sound system rentals with delivery & pickup for the do-it-yourselfer (ex. wedding receptions) and Full service live sound systems with an experienced, professional technician (ex. wedding service).
Sound System Rentals
Want great sound for your event, but don't want (or can't afford) a DJ or band? Yoursoundsystem.com is just what you need! Add your iPod, MP3 player, laptop or other source and you are good to go. Yoursoundsystem.com specializes in Wedding Receptions, School Dances, and Club events.
Yoursoundsystem.com uses professional sound reinforcement equipment from brands like Electro-Voice and Crown. This is the same equipment used in dance clubs, auditoriums, arenas. This is not consumer grade, home use equipment. Yoursoundsystem.com has over seven years of mobile DJ experience and ten years of pro audio sound operation. Yoursoundsystem.com serves the Kansas City area.
How does it work? You reserve your date, we setup the system, you plug in your iPod and you are ready to go! Think of it as an 600 watt pair of pro sound headphones for your party. Got something to say? Also provided is a microphone with the power of an on/off switch. When your event is finished, we pickup the system.
Is it hard to operate? If you can operate your iPod, you know all you need to know. The system is designed to be as easy to use as a pair of headphones. Your iPod volume control will take you from soft background music to a thumping dance party. It doesn't get any easier!
What does it look like? Two speakers and a sealed "black box". Speakers can be on the floor or on stands. Speakers on the floor are best for dance club type sound and for small venues. Speakers on stands are better for large crowds and when absolute speech clarity is the goal. Note that the blue/white table pictured is not part of the system.

Live Sound
Planning a wedding outside or at a location that doesn't have a sound system? You will want to make sure your family and guests can hear every word and all the music.
Yoursoundsystem.com books pro audio systems for wedding services. Most importantly... Yoursoundsystem.com has experienced professional sound technicians that operate the system during your wedding. Our technicians have years of experience at making sure the sound is clear and never a distraction. Yoursoundsystem.com uses professional sound reinforcement equipment and even typically discretely places the sound board operator out in the audience so that the sound person hears exactly what your guests are hearing (just like at a concert).
Wireless lapel microphones for officiants, live musicians, singers, CD/MP3 playback....we have the equipment and expertise to make your wedding sound perfect.
